Check if your resume gets read

Upload your resume and see how recruiter software reads it. You get your score right away, plus what to improve.

What the ATS check looks at

An ATS, short for Applicant Tracking System, is the software employers use to receive, sort and search applications. It often reads your resume before a recruiter sees it. The check reads your resume the way such a system does and looks at four things:

Common mistakes that trip up the software

A good resume can still score badly. These are the causes we see most often:

How to read your score

Your resume starts at 100 points. Points come off for every problem, and for each part you see what to improve.

In a few minutes you have a resume the software can read cleanly and a recruiter can skim fast.

Which files can I upload?

PDF, Word (.docx) and a photo of your resume (JPG or PNG). We read a photo with text recognition, but employer software often can't. So always send a PDF or Word file with real text.

Is my resume stored?

No. Your resume is only processed in memory and deleted after the analysis. We don't store the file.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Upload your resume and you see your score and the most important fixes right away.

What is a good ATS score?

From 80 up, the software reads your resume well. Between 60 and 79 the basics are there, but you're leaving points on the table. Below 60 it's smart to fix the biggest problems before you apply.

Does a high score guarantee an interview?

No. A high score means the software can read your resume and that the important parts are in it. The choice to invite you belongs to the employer, and there the content of your experience counts.
